Anagram Interiors is run by best friends Lizzy and Louise Noon.
Having first met in school aged ten they have been firm friends ever since. Indeed Louise even went as far as to marry Lizzy's cousin, Richard, which is how they ended up with the same surname!
For the past twelve years they have been working together at the family owned and run firm Ashley Lawrence - The Made to Measure Sofa company. Ashley Lawrence became yet another victim of the credit crunch and was placed into voluntary administration in August 2008. Whilst ensuring that all remaining orders were fulfilled before closing Lizzy and Louise could not comprehend the thought of not working together.
Spurred on by words of encouragement received from their Ashley Lawrence customers, who commended them not only on the beautiful furniture but also the excellent customer service, Lizzy and Louise decided to use their combined experience of 29 years in the furnishing trade to set up in business together.
So why the name "Anagram Interiors"? Ron Noon, Lizzy's father and founder member of Ashley Lawrence, came up with the name whilst indulging in his favourite crossword puzzles. It was the first name that the girls liked simultaneously and was deemed highly appropriate with the byline "Furnishing Solutions for the Home." It was a fitting tribute to their original boss,who now whilst retired, continues to offer his valuable experience of over 40 years in the furnishing trade.
