Legs and Castors

Brass Castors

Brass Castors.
Designs such as the Chalfont and Chelsea with turned legs are finished as standard with attractive solid brass castors.

Turned Legs

Turned Legs.
Should you not like the feature of brass castors or have solid flooring then it is possible to have the legs turned longer and removing the need for brass castors.

Shepherd Castors

Shepherd Castors.
Designs that do not have the feature of turned legs, such as the Balmoral and Buckingham, are finished as standard with shepherd cators. These ball style wheels are ideal for use on carpet and are hidden by the valance or bullion fringe. They provide easy mobility when you wish to move the furniture in the room.

Glides

Glides.
If your room is not carpeted but instead has wood or stone flooring then we recommend the use of plastic glides on the "down to the floor" furniture. Again these will not be seen underneath the valance or bullion fringe and, unlike castors, will not roll around on solid flooring.
